Rocky Mountain National Park Wedding at Cheley Lodge and Grove | Amy + Fielder

Amy and Fielder’s wedding day near Rocky Mountain National Park at Cheley Lodge and Grove

Amy and Fielder came to us for help after their original large mountain wedding plans were canceled due to Covid19 restrictions on weddings. We had about two weeks to plan an entirely new wedding in an entirely new place so we got right to work. This couple was an absolute joy to plan with. They wanted a small elopement outdoors with great views and a history. We knew the perfect place. Growing up in Estes Park definitely gives us the advantage on all the super secret elopement spots. We decided to take Amy and Fielder to Cheley Colorado Camp, it is a staple location in Estes Park and has been a children's camp for 100 years in Estes Park, Co. We knew it would be the perfect mix for our couple. There was a small outdoor elopement venue at the back of the property with views of Longs Peak and Mummy Range.

The couple had a total of 21 guests! We decided to hold their ceremony on top of a enormous boulder at the wedding site. The couples family and friends gathered around and watched the couple say their i do's cliff-side with the most breathtaking views. We then transferred over to cocktail hour where the guests had lots of champagne and a gigantic grazing board for cocktail hour bites. For dinner and dancing we wanted to really incorporate the natural beauty and a dinner under the stars theme for their reception. Planning weddings in Estes Park is always so simple. The beauty of the Rocky Mountains truly does all the work itself. We laid out our gorgeous farm tables in a line for dinner. To top that off we incorporated out canopy lighting over the dinner tables to give off some ambient lighting for the wedding dinner. Filling the tables with lanterns and LED candles really tied in the romantic feel Amy and Fielder had wanted. The couple was able to celebrate their marriage with their families and friends under the stars surrounded by Colorado's beautiful Rocky Mountains! We covered the small wedding pavilion with fairy lights, greenery, and lanterns surrounding the space to really make it an intimate and romantic wedding. It was such a blast planning this couples Rocky Mountain elopement in Estes Park.
