Colorado Springs Wedding with Llamas at Younger Ranch - *Featured on Wedding Chicks*
This Colorado Springs wedding at Younger Ranch with llamas was such a fun styled shoot to collaborate on! One of the best parts about being a wedding planner in Colorado is putting together fun styled wedding shoots to show our clients some fun ideas they can incorporate in to their upcoming weddings.
Planning this rustic mountain wedding shoot was so much fun and we connected with so many great vendors. As you can see, Bliss Wedding Florist totally killed it with these flowers! Florals this epic aren’t easy to stumble upon in February you guys, but this team of all-stars totally made some magic happen for us. They also made these gorgeous neck garlands for our llama friends because, fun fact; llamas actually hate having their ears touched and should NOT be put in flower crowns! Younger Ranch was the perfect space for us to host this styled wedding and we absolutely love the faux hedges that we used to dress up the indoor reception space. One of our favorite photos from the day was our llamas who decided they needed a vendor meal as well. I’m not quite sure if it was because of how cute Mama the llama was or because we were letting llamas eat off of $50 place settings. So worth it, so so worth it. We loved wedding planning at Younger Ranch. The couple was also such a blast to work with, and were all smiles the entire day!
Our reception set up could not have been more perfect for our wedding day theme. We love planning wedding in Colorado Springs and Younger ranch was such a gorgeous venue on its own, so we did not have to add much to create a stunning backdrop for the reception dinner. We were ecstatic to work with a calligraphy artist for our signage on this shoot. Using calligraphy artist for your wedding signage is one way for you wedding to stand out from the traditional signage route. We knew for the table settings we wanted bold pops of color along with pops of lush greenery. Our color palette was gold, burgundy, deep greens, and ivory. It could not have been more perfect with all the natural wood in the reception hall. The gold chargers were such a perfect addition to make the tables pop! Another fun addition we couldn't leave out, were the glamping tents on the property. EVERY wedding needs glamping tents. They are so versatile for weddings and can be used for everything from getting ready spaces to a unique nights stay after the wedding.
