Love Is NOT Cancelled Wedding at Donavan Pavilion in Breckenridge, Co

We don’t know where to start with describing Alyssa and Banks wedding. They hired The Perfect Touch 3 years ago, you heard that right, 3 years. Between job changes, relocations, and then covid19 causing postponements their day had finally came. We have to say that this wedding was one of the most intimate weddings we have had this year and emotional as well. It was amazing to get to know Alyssa and Banks throughout planning their wedding, but it was even greater to get to know their amazing family and friends. They are such an accomplished young couple with nothing but love and support surrounding them and it was great to be apart of.

Let’s talk ceremony. Alyssa was dead set on having her first look at the top of the mountain as well as her ceremony, rain or shine. Well of course it was summer in Colorado, so naturally it rained on their big day. This is one of those times where having a wedding planner for your big day comes into play. We were there to coordinate with the venue as well as the ski lift in order to catch the small opening in order to make the ceremony happen on top of the mountain and it was beyond worth it. The cloudy skies provided such a beautiful light for photos and personally we are a big fan of our clear wedding umbrellas, you know, just in case!

For the reception we had all guests hop on the shuttles and head over to Donovan Pavilion to begin the party and have a much awaited dinner. For cocktail hour the couple decided on fun small charcuterie style bites and they were a blast. We may have snuck one or three! Each table was named after a mountain peak in Colorado that the couple has been to and we placed those in our gold picture frames to add to the elegance of the event. The tables then were lined with antique brass candlestick holders covered tall glass hurricane vases. They provided the perfect amount of light and ambiance for the reception. We then added a rustic element to the couples cards and gifts table with our rental antlers and custom find your seat board. Then adding in some of the couples personal photos from their relationship allowing guests to see inside the last few years of the couples time together and it was such a fun portion of the wedding reception. As wedding planners in Colorado this wedding style was right up our alley and even featured our Ski Lift Chair Photobooth which was well used and provided the couple with a TON of hilarious photos including some snuck in photos of us! We had a blast at The Donavan Pavilion while coordinating Alyssa and Banks wedding and we cant wait to watch this couple flourish in New York. Don’t worry guys, we will come visit!!!
